You don’t need to work for Inkfish to make a referral. If someone applies through your link, is offered a role, joins, and completes 3 months’ service, you both receive a one-off payment.

Referral scheme terms

If the person you refer is offered a role, joins, and completes 3 months’ service, you both receive a one-off payment:

  • Residential Support Worker: £250 for you and £250 for them.
  • Senior Residential Support Worker: £500 for you and £500 for them.

The payment is made in the next payroll after they complete 3 months.

A few things to know

  • You can refer as many people as you like, and each person who joins and completes 3 months earns you a separate payment.
  • You can’t refer yourself.
  • The person you refer must not have applied to Inkfish before.
  • If more than one person refers the same candidate, the referral belongs to the Ink Link on that candidate’s first valid application.
  • Nothing is paid for registering, sharing or applying.
  • If you don’t work for Inkfish, you’re responsible for declaring any tax that may be due on your payment.
  • The scheme is open for applications submitted by Thursday 12 November 2026.
